.... and the winner is: LEIPA!!

We are proud that our innovation, the LEIPAbarrier PACK'D frozen vegetable, has won in the "Resource Efficient Pack of the Year" category at the UK Packaging Awards 2023! This is a paper-based packaging material with built-in moisture and oxygen barriers. It replaces non-recyclable laminates made of aluminum foil, plastic and paper and is used in the packaging of dried foods, confectionery and chocolate. The application for frozen products is new.

This versatile solution is available in a variety of finishes to meet both marketing and technical requirements. It has been certified according to international paper recycling standards and complies with the UK OPRL guidelines. In addition, this innovative packaging can be easily integrated into most vertical and horizontal form, fill and seal machines. More information can be found HERE.
