Compliance

The LEIPA Group is strongly committed to complying with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. We recognise our corporate responsibility to respect human rights and the associated environmental standards towards our employees, suppliers and society and are actively committed to ensuring a sustainable and ethically responsible supply chain.

To ensure compliance with social and environmental standards, we have established comprehensive due diligence processes within our company. These apply both internally and to our relationships with suppliers and business partners. Our guidelines are based on international standards such as the Human Rights Charter, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the principles of the UN Global Compact. Internal standards anchor these standards in our company, ensure compliance and promote ethical and sustainable business practices. You can find out more about our approach and our processes for implementing the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) in the following policy statement on respect for human rights.

We attach great importance to internal and external whistleblowers being able to report possible violations of human rights and environmental standards. We have set up various complaints mechanisms for this purpose. These make it possible to recognise and address potential risks at an early stage and to take appropriate measures if necessary. The protection of confidentiality and whistleblowers is our top priority. If necessary, information can also be submitted anonymously. It is our Group-wide policy not to take any steps to establish the identity of a whistleblower in the event of an anonymous report. The procedure for our complaints mechanisms is set out in the following rules of procedure:
